Furnish and Install 12,658 tons new AREMA #4 ballast. Surface 52,800 track feet. Tie replacement extended over 10 miles on the NY&A / LIRR’s Bay Ridge Branch from Glendale, Queens (Fresh Pond) to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The project also included miscellaneous track and ditching activities. Work was scheduled to protect operation of railroad throughout the project. Start of Construction 07/2005 –Completion Date 02/2006. |
