- 4000A NEMA 3R switchboard
- renovation of 14,000 sf lobby with concession
- new refrigeration system for ice rink
- new dehumidifying system in NJ Devils practice rink
Project Information This first phase of the renovation includes a 14,000 sq. ft lobby with a concession area, an arcade, multi-purpose rooms and pro shop. There also will be new seating in the public ice rink, along with dasher boards and panels that line the ice rink; a new refrigeration system for the public ice rink; and a new dehumidifying system for the second rink, where the New Jersey Devils practice. The project consisted of a two story parking deck, site lighting and overhead utilities being relocated underground. The deck will serve bus commuters throughout the region, primarily those commuting into New York City. It will also eliminate congestion and traffic hazards, creating a safer environment for the commuters and children who visit Turtle Back Zoo and South Mountain Arena. The site improvements included new and upgraded underground services to the parking deck, parts of the Turtle Back Zoo and a 4000A NEMA 3R switchboard for South Mountain Arena which was required for the future renovations.
