New Jersey Transit - Main Bergen Connection - Secaucus Transfer Program Secaucus, NJ
The Main Bergen Connection Project for the Secaucus Transfer Program involved Construction of a new Connector Track between the Bergen Line and the Main Line west of the Secaucus Transfer. The project included the rehabilitation of the entire structure for deteriorated steel.
This job consisted of replacement of entire fire protection system in a laboratory-production building, covering five total floors which included the basement and the attic. Installation consisted of a new fire command center, pull stations, horn/strobes, duct detectors, heat detectors and smoke detectors. Demolition of the old fire system once the new system was put online was also included in this job.
